Jungian Analysis
There are moments when something deeper begins to insist on attention — a recurring pattern, a relationship that collapses in familiar ways, a dream that lingers, a dissatisfaction that does not resolve.
It may follow a crisis or a transition. Or it may arise without a clear cause. Outwardly life may appear intact, but inwardly something feels unsettled, divided, or unexpressed.
This is often where analysis begins.
THE APPROACH
What happens
in analysis?
Analysis unfolds through a conversation — weekly meetings at a consistent time and place. Speaking freely requires structure, and this reliability creates a steady space in which deeper work becomes possible.
Rather than focusing only on symptom relief, we explore the wider field of your experience: both the outer events of your life and the inner images, memories, and dreams that shape it. Over time, certain patterns begin to emerge, and what once felt opaque or accidental begins to take on deeper meaning.
As inner tensions become conscious, and your relationship to yourself deepens, an outward change can arise from this new understanding rather than force.
THE REASONS
Who is analysis for?
I work with adults who arrive at a point where something must shift.
A relationship has ended. A move across countries unsettles what once felt solid. A role or identity no longer fits. There may be grief — for a person, a place, or a former self. There may be anxiety, depression, or a loss of direction that cannot be explained away.
Some feel divided between inner demands and outer expectations, moving through lives with competence and success, while privately questioning their path, their work, or their sense of meaning.
Moving beyond these impasses requires looking beneath the surface of conscious awareness. Consequently, analysis works best for those who are deeply curious about their inner life and are willing to begin an open-ended exploration of it.
THE PROCESS
Honoring the pace of your psyche
1
MEETING
We begin with a conversation about what brings you here, what feels unresolved, and whether analytic work with me feels like the right fit.
While first impressions matter, it may take a few sessions for both of us to arrive at a clearer sense of this.
2
RELATIONSHIP
Analysis involves developing a relationship with your inner reality, and it requires an external relationship with the analyst in order to unfold.
This relationship grows gradually over time, creating a space in which patterns, defenses, and longings can become more visible.
3
ANALYSIS
We continue through weekly meetings, following the pace of the psyche as it expresses itself through dreams, symptoms, emotions, and the unfolding analytic relationship.
The work may take a year or two, or extend well beyond that. It is complete when it feels complete to you.
About me
I am an analytical psychotherapist based in Hong Kong, where I practice bilingually in English and Russian.
Having grown up in Europe and lived in Asia for almost two decades, I work especially well with people who live between worlds, navigating competing languages, value systems and identities.
In my practice, I frequently meet people who are dealing with the heavy pressures of outward success, or who feel their creative expression has been entirely blocked. We work together to explore what lies beneath these impasses, especially when life as it is currently structured no longer feels sustainable.
THE PRACTICE
My background
-
My training follows the institute model within Jungian and psychoanalytic traditions — a long-term postgraduate development through sustained study, supervised clinical practice, and personal analysis.
I am engaged in multi year analytic training with institutes and senior analysts across Europe, Asia, and the United States, including Pacifica Graduate Institute, the C.G. Jung Institute of Los Angeles, the Moscow Association of Analytical Psychology, the C.G. Jung Center in Ireland, and the Society of Analytical Psychology in Taiwan.
Since summer 2026, I have been attending advanced lectures at the C.G. Jung Institute in Zurich and am currently completing a year long in person Further Education program there.
-
My work is supported by long-term weekly personal analysis, as well as ongoing weekly individual and group supervisions with Jungian analysts who are accredited members of the International Association of Analytical Psychology.
-
My background includes a prior Master’s degree in Philosophy (Saint-Petersburg State University, Russia, 2009), two decades of contemplative practice followed by a formal mindfulness teacher training (Brown University, USA, 2025), advanced study in ecopsychology, dreamwork, and creative process therapy, as well as extended theoretical training in psychiatry.
I continuously participate in international analytical conferences and engage in applied anthropological field trips with Jungian analysts to sharpen my sensitivity to cultural context, symbolic life, and the complexity of human experience.
Reflecting my fascination and commitment to exploring the difficult moral dilemmas that arise during practice, I am facilitating a bi-weekly Ethics Reading Club at the Moscow Association of Analytical Psychology.
FAQS
Answering your questions
-
Jungian analysis is a long term, depth oriented psychotherapy. While people often experience a sense of relief or clarity after the first few sessions, it takes time for symptoms to reveal their underlying meaning and for lasting structural change to take place.
Because of this, the work can’t be done through short term intervention or one off consultations. It requires a steady, ongoing commitment to allow enough space for true exploration.
-
Regular analytic sessions last 50 minutes. The foundational frequency for depth work is once per week, though certain intensive periods may require meeting twice weekly.
Once we agree to undertake longterm work, a permanent, recurring time slot is reserved exclusively for you in my schedule. We will meet at this exact time each week. If your life circumstances shift down the road, we can look at moving to a new fixed hour if my schedule allows. However, the spot is yours, meaning sessions can’t be moved around from week to week.
-
This is a matter of personal preference and practical sustainability. In person work requires a commitment to arriving at the same physical space at a consistent time each week, which offers a distinct sense of containment. Depending on their professional and life circumstances, some people find online sessions more manageable.
-
In person: sessions take place at an office located at 18-20 Lyndhurst Terrace, Central, Hong Kong.
Online: sessions are conducted via a secure, encrypted Zoom link provided prior to our meeting.
-
My fee is $1,200 HKD per session. The initial consultation and the first few exploratory sessions are paid individually in advance. Once we agree to enter ongoing work and establish a fixed weekly time slot, billing transitions to a monthly schedule. You will receive an invoice at the beginning of each month for the previous month's sessions.
-
Continuous clinical supervision with senior Jungian analysts is a foundational pillar of ethical depth practice, independent of a practitioner's years of experience. Supervision ensures a balanced, objective clinical presence, offers external accountability, and deepens the conceptual understanding of the work. All case material is presented on a strictly anonymized basis, ensuring that your identity remains completely protected.
